The intent of this massage school is to teach students to become a professional and successful Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) as well as provide continuing education credits (CEs) for existing  body workers.
Licensed Massage Therapists are strengthening the bridge between Bodywork and Modern Medicine by working in physical therapy units, family practice clinics, and chiropractor's offices. LMT's are also entering into the world of athletics by working in training rooms to enhance the performance of athletes. The educational program at ACOMT will also address the growing demand for spa treatments. Techniques such as Hot Stone massage - Reflexology - Aromatherapy - Salt rubs and Hydrotherapy will prepare the student to be part of this exciting field of massage!

The ACOMT Philosophy:

The principles of ACOMT are based on a mind, body, and spirit model. Any imbalance in this model manifests in resistance within the physical body. The curriculum at ACOMT has been influenced by the opinion that if a bodyworker can understand and work with the physical stresses placed upon the athlete; the physical stresses placed upon the average human are easier to understand. Education Objectives:

The purpose of ACOMT is to train and qualify Licensed Massage Therapists. ACOMT encourages students to study bodywork as it applies to athletics and human performance. ACOMT students are introduced to information that will allow them to create a practice tailored to their needs. The success of ACOMT is evaluated by how many graduates are achieving their goals. Therefore, ACOMT emphasizes the total business of bodywork, including the complex study of marketing, maintaining, and/or growing a successful practice of massage therapy.
